MEDCAP is a program designed to assist the local residents in the An Nasiriyah, Iraq area with basic needs. This is a joint operation with the Italians and US soldiers establishing a site at the local schools and community buildings to:

1. Provide medical treatment to the local population. Some of the women have had multiple births, etc. without years of medical attention. We have treated the local sheiks, their women and children.

2. Provide school supplies to the 7 local schools being constructed around the An Nasriyah area. School donations contribute directly to the children of these communities.

3. Provide health and welfare items to the local population. Most of these gifts are for the kids such as shoes, clothing, toys, and sporting goods. Items for the local women include but are not limited to mascarah, lotions and clothing. As you know from driving the country side, the women are working out in the heat, sun, wind and blowing sand all day. They really appreciate the lotion.
